Abstract
The research is aimed to analyze the system of marketing information which is applied by star hotels in southern Bali. The researcher formulated descriptive qualitative analysis during handling data by elaborating information to make it clear and actual. The approach applied here are the concept of POAC and SWOT analysis. The research is done in Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort as a star hotel located in south of Bali. By applying research approach, both POAC and SWOT analysis, the research found out that there is a marketing information system which connected the consumers, guests, and public to the marketer through the information system applied which is defined as a function to identify and define the opportunity, treats, and marketing problems in order to achieve their goals, gain feedback, and also evaluate the marketing activities including monitoring marketing performance to build better understanding of all marketing processes. Thus, it is much needed a guarantee and build guest’s trust which is supported by well-organized information system for the optimal achievement.
