Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze how to implement the strategy of people empowerment in the development of Tourist Village at Liang Ndara Village. Data analysis technique being used was descriptive qualitative analysis SWOT so that resulting in alternative strategy of people empowerment in the development of Tourist Village of Liang Ndara. The result of research is: 1. formulating alternative strategy of people empowerment in the development of Tourist Village of Liang Ndara including: a. the need to promote the products of Tourist Village via website or other social media; b. the need for government involvement in order to provide support facilities for Tourist Village of Liang Ndara; c. it should highlight the unique feature and easily remembered by tourists so that it has its own appeal; d. maximizing technology for producing documentation in the form of video, documentary movie and others to support sustainability of traditional culture at Liang Ndara Village; e. the need for calendar of activity related to the issue of Tourism especially in the extreme raining season; f. the need for increasing government participation in providing work training as an effort for improving human resources so that able to serve the tourists better; g. the presence of good cooperation between community in developing Liang Ndara Village as Tourist
