STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN DAYA TARIK WISATA PANTAI MATAHARI TERBIT SEBAGAI DESTINASI WISATA KELUARGA DI KOTA DENPASAR

Abstract

Matahari Terbit Beach is one of the natural attractions located in Sanur Kaja village, South Denpasar, Bali. This tourist destination has interesting potential, both based on natural and socio-cultural attractions. The purpose of this research is to identify the tourist attractions in Matahari Terbit beach, ranging from internal aspects (strengths and weaknesses), as well as external aspects (opportunities and threats). In addition, this study also aims to analyze strategies so that the Matahari Terbit beach can develop into an alternative family tourism in Bali. The method used to carry out the analysis process is qualitative, which is assisted by using SWOT analysis and its strategy. From the research and analysis that has been done, its shows that the Matahari Terbits beach has a sufficient 4A tourism components (attraction, amenities, accessibility, ancillary) but needs to be developed in order to optimize the attraction or tourist activities for tourists, especially families.
