Abstract
Tourism destination (TORDES) is the last of a series of trips that tourists
do. In this place negative problems of tourism destinations occur, such as
dissatisfaction and lead to the loss of loyalty of tourism destinations. Tourism
destinations can also viewed as an image in the tourist minds. Bali for examples
is one of tourism destinations that are positioned or imaged as a cultural
destination, where people famous for its hospitality. Lack of research on tourism
destinations, particularly discussing the competition at a tourism destination,
becoming one of the considerations of the study. The second consideration that
research on competition is very important to know the position of a tourism
destination or tourist attraction. This study uses library research to obtain data and
information on a range of conceptual and empirical research. The results of this
study are expected to contribute conceptual and managerial to add a reference for
future research and input for Tourism Destination Organization.
